I read somewhere (here) that now there is a method to install haxchi without a DS games from the store. is https://wiiu.hacks.guide/ uptodate and suggested to use?

You mean this guide. It is not bad imo. But it is less convinient like haxchi. Buy a compatible game and use haxchi, and if you want, with coldboot option.

so haxchi via DS game is still the most convenient method if I do not want to use coldboot?

Coldboot is an extra on top of haxchi. So there is no cbhc without the ds game

That's why i wrote "if you want". CBHC is not a must have. It only gives you signaturepatches at boot. The normal haxchi must be enabled manually at boot. That's all.

cbhc is not brick proof (by user error), right? haxchi is brick proof even if a dummy is on the wii u?!

All user errors. CBHC is safe i would say. As long as no children are poking around in the console ofc. If you are worried, use the normal haxchi. This can't damage your console when it's accidentally deleted.

I copy these to another WiiU what exactly is preventing the HaxChi from working on the WiiU I just copied all relevent information and Data too besides the fact that im sure there is a unique Console identifier Key or something so I am guessing that cant and or has not been cracked and no way to change it to match the new Console Key?
