Gaming Wiiu eshop cards not activating

I have some prepaid eshop cards i am trying to use and upon using i get107-6838. The code could not be recognized. Help?

when did you get them

some times it can take 24h for the card to activate
are they the SAME as the 3ds ones

same REGION as you wiiU

are you putting in the code right

I received 3 cards all from the same place. One of the cards entered and activated with no problem, while the other 2 show that they are worth 20dollars, but when I click to add it I get the error. I am hoping it is just a problem with being too much traffic. :/

make sure all 3 were activated at the store

look at the receipts to see if if they were activated
