Hacking wiird code on usb

is it possible to load wiird code on a usb or exteranal hardrive instead of a sd card?

if so, how?

Yes, I always found it annoying that I couldn't use USB. So I searched around. Go to: http://wiibrew.org/w/images/7/7d/Open-Source-Gecko-OS.zip
The USB setting isn't enabled by default, so go into config ancd change it every time.

ok i got another problem

i can't get the code to load from my usb

it doesn't say applying code

but then after i unplug my usb then plug it back in while i was in gecko
then it say applying usbcode but it hang/frozen? any help?

Are you trying it on channel? Did you change the settings to USB everytime? (It doesn't save settings)
