You might want to add Wiinja Deluxe compatibility to the red text under the SMG US release thing on the Wi release list on the front page.

I already had upgrade 3 installed, but this worked great, Mario plays fine now, and seems pretty damn good so far.

I'm unable to read original discs without disabling Wiinja (by holding power+reset 3 secs) after update 4. Backups still load fine tho. Anyone else have the same problem or is it just me?

Some say that plugging the Wii off for about five minutes (let's say ten minutes to be sure) lets you recover the ability of loading original discs (Wii + GCN). Is it possible for you to try and confirm this ?

Yes, but as soon as you put in a backup disc, you won't be able to read originals again. You'll either have to go through the unplug process or disable the chip.

According to the Wiinja website the upgrade has been fixed. The issue with original games not being playable before disabling the chip has been sorted out. And, for those wondering if you need to upgrade with upgrades 2 & 3 before using the bugfixed upgrade 4, I read on the forums that upgrade 4 is enough, and you don't necessary have to upgrade with upgrades 2 & 3.
