You know a console's hacking scene is advancing when you can use a Wiimote on it.
Works pretty well, besides in games that have multiplayer support because they handle controllers differently and the Wiimote is being used as if it was the controller in an actual portable Vita.

@xerpi made this and it's called Viimote btw.

( Sorry for recording on vertical :( )

Interesting. I'm assuming it uses the standard Bluetooth connection via plugin? I'm sure it's usefulness is limited due to having fewer buttons and since the pointer function doesn't work but it's neat nonetheless.

You got me intrigued with the multiplayer part. Mind to elaborate?
Some Vita TV games support multiplayer, and they handle controller input differently from the ones that don't.
The plugin isn't optimized for these types of games, so they think there is no controller connected.

Yeah, it's using bluetooth to connect. If you have a classic controller it can be used as a normal dualshock, but with some games not playable.

I wish this were compatible with PS2 to Wii adapters, but I've had no luck with mine. I've been bugging Xerpi (and anyone else that will listen) for a wired controller plug-in, but so far, no luck.

That's nice. What games have you tried (that work?)

Gal Gun, Taiko, Downwell ( in the video ), Rogue Legacy, Binding of Isaac Rebirth, Super Meat Boy.

Those are the ones I tried out that worked so far.
I bought a new dualshock 3 though, it's arriving next week, probably not gonna need this for long, will keep experimenting though.
