Gaming Wiimmfi - ACCF - Keyboard freeze

When I go onto Animal Crossing city folk, my keyboard that's plugged in freezes it. I want to type with it. Any fixes?

Disc or backup? If backup use a cIOS based on IOS 38 and the keyboard should work. Otherwise it may just be the keyboard itself.
