Hacking Wiikey Config Disk 1.3

Heya! I got a Wiikey 1.9something, the SMG upgrade thingy. And the Wii is 3.1E. And my Wiikey config disk 1.3 won't work! I just get the "An error has occured.." and so on message, why? Can anyone help me. I need help because I need to turn on my region override so I can play Super Smash Bros Brawl. Please help me.

What the hell is GCOS? Can you give me a guide like "How to set region override on for dummies" or something? :>

EDIT: I downloaded one named GCOS PAL and burned it, didn't work. Please help.

Well,that is strange.It is supposed to work.

When you put the disc,you see a gamecube disc and when you start it it says an error occured??

I don't know much about config disc,I will let somebody else help you

I really need some help. Oh, and now my Wii can't read my original Guitar Hero III.

Well you have 2 choices.

1) If you got a Gamecube controller get the GCOS disc. Get it here Download GCOS Pal 1.3 Config disc

2) If you dont own a Gamecube controller get this: WiiKey Config Disc Starter Pal
This will ask after you start for the WiiKey base disc.
Put in your 1.3 config disc and press reset and boom it works!


Remember to turn on the region overide!

I've heard people complain after turning on "region override" on the wiikey that they can no longer play backups. What's the deal with that?

They might have bad clones or media.
Mine works 100%
