my friend has a DMS drive and wants to get it modded.

we found that the wiikey supports DMS but not consistently across all webpages

I wanted to know once and for all before we buy the chip, does the wiikey in fact work on DMS and does anything special have to be done (when i got mine i had to run the update 1.1 disk first in order for it to recognize my d2b a few years ago)

    thanks

i have a DMS drive and i just ordered my wiikey, from everything that i read, it was the one i was reccomended by everyone i talked too saying it would work without an issue
also, oncve you have it installed if you have the lasest wii firmware, you will need the GCOS config disk for the wiikey and the new update from wiikey.cn (1.9b)

    and thats about it

so yea, you shouldnt have a problem

    happy modding [IMG]

why does the dms chipset require the gc os disk and the other chipsets do not?

right, but why did he say i needed to use gcos?

is that just what you call the 'config disk' they provide?
