I'm surprised nobody has posted this info. This should really be front page news. First open source modchip to have region patching on the fly. It even uses a DVD to configure it just like the WiiKey!

This is nice for some but I'm waiting for speedfix also. The better disc recognition is nice though.

Someone on MaxConsole put a speed fix in the 1.51 release. It's only a matter of time (days?) before it gets into the 2.0 version.

that speedfix has known problems, doesnt work on some consoles

it patches the ram of the drive to run at 6x instead of normal 4x of backups, speeding the read speed up will allow ya to load backups faster and will stop the stuttering on some games
