Hacking Wii won't boot and remotes don't sync

Try to find you boot mii files so you can launch boot mii


Steps:

Put the bootmii files is the bootmii folder
Boot wii and HOLD select while pressing power button


Lets see if that works.

Just tried what you suggested, and didn't do it, but maybe is something around this.

My BootMii is installed as IOS.
The bootmii folder has the following content:
armboot.bin
ppcboot.elf
bootmii.ini

where the content of bootmii.ini is:
CODE# BootMii config file

# Video mode, possible settings:
# NTSC, PAL50, PAL60, PROGRESSIVE
VIDEO=PAL50

# Autoboot, possible settings:
# SYSMENU, HBC
#AUTOBOOT=SYSMENU

Should the AUTOBOOT line be commented?

try uncommenting autoboot=sysmenu and bootdelay=50. sounds like it may be a bootmii rendering issue... and the wiimotes don't connect when bootmii is running. autoboot will make it automatically skip bootmii.

Why bother? Taking out the SD card would make it automatically skip bootmii....

Just tried to change the settings.
That's right it didn't solve the problem

where is this "select" you mention?

If you mean "reset" then that wont work as that is a Preloader/Priiloader function not Bootmii

OP, have you checked all connections to and from the wii making sure there is no loose connection? and have you installed a channel or IOS in wad form recently, because it sounds like you bricked your wii by remove/corrupting the SM IOS or SM itself

You could have possible gotten a miss named wad and installed it

I tried it in a different more modern TV. Where it shows the error "No Video Signal", instead of just black screen on the other one.
So, can I assume this is a hardware problem? Or can it still be a Software problem?

have you tried the modified gamecube controller holding down all 4 d-pad directions? if that doesn't work, then with bootmii only as IOS and no priiloader... yeah you're probably screwed. you'll probably need an infectus to fix it.

This is the EXACT same issue I have with my Wii. It won't boot after beeing powered off from within USB Loader GX. Now it turns on, the LED turns green, the DVD makes the sound it always does but no signal to the TV and none of the Wimotes sync. I can also turn on the Wii with the Wiimotes.

I have Priiloader installed but I can't access it by holding RESET after power on like I normally can.

Solved my problem by sending it to warranty, they replaced it by a new one.

I think the problem was due to had been trying to solve the frozen game issue, by changing the video settings in the usbloader.
Probably by forcing video mode, it "burned" the video card, or something like that.
