Try to find you boot mii files so you can launch boot mii
Steps:
Put the bootmii files is the bootmii folder
Boot wii and HOLD select while pressing power button
Lets see if that works.
Just tried what you suggested, and didn't do it, but maybe is something around this.
My BootMii is installed as IOS.
The bootmii folder has the following content:
armboot.bin
ppcboot.elf
bootmii.ini
where the content of bootmii.ini is:
CODE# BootMii config file
# Video mode, possible settings:
# NTSC, PAL50, PAL60, PROGRESSIVE
VIDEO=PAL50
