Hacking wii with faulty dvd drive

hi all was wondering if i can get usbloader on a wii with no dvd drive cos its fecked
will bannerbomb doit?
its an older wii prob 3.2 i guess
dosent have homebrew on it

Banner bomb should work. But you need at least your dvd control board working for games to play from usb loader.

Use bannerbomb to install HBC if you don't have it already then install cios rev 9/10 (depending on what loader you want to use. rev 10 for ones based on 1.4 or later.) then get whatever loader you want to use and load that from hbc when you wanna use it or install a wad/dol forwarder for it. To put the games on your hard drive you would need to use a wbfs manager on your computer and since your dvd drive is dead on your wii I think you would have to get all your iso's for your games through other means. Unless you have one of those few drives that can directly burn wii games.

I thought my wii drive was fecked too, but i bought that stupid wii lens cleaner and it works great
