Hardware Wii Unable to read discs

Basically, my wii still reads games, backups and original, problem is that it takes a crap load of time. Most of the time I get "unable to read disc" So I always have to eject and reput in about 10 times before it works. Is there a way to fix this?

get a new dvd drive.

how old is your wii?

i think its time for a new dvd drive then if your getting problems like that :]

make a NAND backup with Bootmii to see if you have any bad blocks.
