I have 2 usbs with different games on it. When I transfer the saved from one USB to the USB with the game on the other it overrides it what gives

The Ninty developers are retarded sometimes. Simple as that.
I find it quiet annoying as well, but this is the world we live in.

It's based on the NID. You could use saviine and put the save from the old Wii U on a different NID

It's the same nid
That's what I'm saying, you can't have two saves for the same game if they both use the same NID. One will overwrite the other. You can however use both saves if you setup a 2nd NID and use saviine to transfer the save to the new user.

You'd just have to switch between users to load each savegame.

As an alternative method you could use Loadiine as it allows multiple saves

No as I'm there is only 1 save

Then why do you care if it overwrites it? You've lost me.
If you have a save on USB, and game on NAND, moving the save from USB to NAND will completely delete the game, and leave you with only the save. Same with vice versa, or any other combination of content split between mediums.

That's why I said the Ninty devs were retarded sometimes.

So use saviine. It won't do that

Is there an alternative to saviine that works more like JKSM? I hate that it requires a PC when it shouldn't need to. Overly complicated bullshit.

there's system config tool, but the latest version only allows dumping saves, not injecting them. u don't need a pc for that. well, u do if u inject the saves since u'd have to use saviine. it sucks, I know.
