Hacking Wii U Not Starting up?

So recently I tried installing Sm4sh mods. I already had my Wii U hacked and fine before hand. But when I started up my Wii U, it's just a black screen after it shows the Wii U logo, and then boots itself back to the home screen. When I take out the SD card, it just shows a -3 in the top left corner instrad of just black. Any idea on what may have happened? I'm hoping I didn't brick it, but that may have been what happened.

Press the home button on the gamepad once during cold boot when you see autobooting on the screen. What is the autoboot set to?

Could you give me some options as to what it could be set to? Sorry, it's been forever since I hacked it. Also, I tried hitting the home button during the cold boot, it didn't do anything, still just frozen.

If I have the SD card in, it'll start up still, but then the screen goes black, and I can't click anything

Yes, and I tried starting up an app from it, that also didn't work

i saw someone else with this problem before, put your gamepad somewhere where it cant be detected by your console and start your console with the power button, turn off the quick menu

I can't turn off quick menu if I can't get to the settings, my Wii u screen just turns black after it starts up

did you put the gamepad somewhere where it cant be detected by the console? or just pull the battery, you should be able to get into your system if you do

you may need to do a hard mod. you have a NAND backup?

did you try to pull the battery?

-3 is an SD read error, try reformatting/replacing the card and copying the HBL back on it... though it's very weird it doesn't show "cbhc version ... autobooting"

You're sure you worked in the right folders while you installed your game mods?

the only thing I did was add a folder to the SD card rather than mess with the ones that were already there.

Yes I did. I don't think it's anything wrong with the gamepad, or the quick menu
