Gaming Wii U nand backup ?

Currently a better way to properly dump your NAND into a restorable form would be to use a hardmod, as the NAND backups used for redNAND are not restorable currently, even with a hardmod. Pretty sure if you try to restore your NAND with those images, you will brick. I could be wrong.

Got any source on that? Why wouldn't you be able to flash a 1:1 copy of the nand?

Don't really have a source, i've just heard it around from people I know that know more than I do. Again I could be wrong, might be due to the way its formatted, plus the images are split up to my knowledge, like SLC is split into 2 separate images one for vWii and one for Wii U, and since they are on one chip, idk how you would properly flash that with current methods. Maybe MLC could work but idk.
