if you mean iosu hax, it's already out. it came out several years ago. it allows for rednand and things like wup server, but afaik, there's no coldboot method for it. it's usually launched through haxchi from what I remember.

iirc, I borrowed an n64 and ocarina of time from @Glyptofane (a childhood friend), and I beat the game. I later beat the game on the 3ds. quite good. I've also beaten twilight princess. I never beat skyward sword, though I have my save on the wii u. iirc, it requires no emunand emulation to function. I remember having trouble with getting it to run 'til I tried that.

Skyward sword was a fun game, but a big departure in some ways from classic zelda.

I still really enjoyed the game, but the lack of overworld was disappointing. BOTW almost seems like overcompensation in terms of overworld size after SS.

I haven't played breath of the wild. I bought it digitally for the switch, but I'm afraid I won't like it, since there are no big dungeons and whatnot. it doesn't sound like zelda to me.

the shrines and divine beasts are fun. The divine beasts function as dungeons - and there are 4 of em. Not quite as developed as the 4 in majora's mask, but also enough to keep me entertained.

I just ran through the game from the divine beasts to ganon and called it a day. Still a pretty long game if you ignore 99% of the random open world stuff.

I need to play that as well dragon quest xi on the switch. I still haven't completed the demo portion of that game.
