Unfortunately, I don't know what the ip backdoor is for my router, it came with my ISP (Comcast), it's a Motorola brand (I believe), modem/router combo and dual band.

I think it may be 192.168.1.1

I'm trying to hit the byte limit. This should make the track have 255 laps, if it works correctly. If it can be 7, that means it's doing 0x07, which the highest you can go is 0xFF, which is 255.

Same course, 3DS music Park.
Same folder, /course/G3DS_MusicPark

It doesn't work. It's just one lap.

Also, I am trying to inject some NDS games but to no avail, has anyone tried that yet?

Maybe its a signed value, 0xff == -1 and the floor of -1 is 1

Found it to be 10.0.0.1, changed the parental settings and added them to the blacklist, sorry I forgot to update my post.

Once this yaml lib works for mk8 I can intergrate it with the 3dw editor and then mk8 will have a 3d editor

@MrRean For Windows users (maybe also Wine, didn't test it) there is a way to get the game update files!

1.) Pull your WiiU out off the outlet! If you don't want to risk updating the fw!
2.) Disable the URL-blacklist.
3.) Get UWizard, goto:
Settings->Search for Updates (to get the latest version and database)
3.1.) Close UWizard for now.
4.) Search for the Wii U common key online. Less than 1min search.
5.) Use a HexEditor of your choice, create an empty file and copy the key inside of it.
6.) Save it as "ckey.bin" in the same directory as the UWizard exe is.

[do steps 4-6 with the "Espresso ancast key", but name the file it differently]
(looks like the Ancast key is used for something else, can someone concretise?)

7.) Open UWizard again (or restart it, if you didn't close it before)
8.) Under the "Settings" tab check whether to the right of "Wii U Common Key" and "Wii U Espresso Ancast Key" in a green box stating that it accords to the "SHA1-Hash". If not, point to the files containing the keys! (or directly enter the keys [not recommended this way due to potential loss])
9.) Go to the "NUS Downloader U" tab and choose a game in the list to the right! (or add one from here)
10.) Tick the "Decrypt content" box and start the download.
10.1.) Wait until everything is finished
10.2) Continue with any of the other games until you have all of the files you need.
11.) Enable your URL-blacklist again! (make sure you can't access ANY of the URLs!)
12.) Put the Wii U into the outlet again and enjoy using the updates!



UWizard does have some other interesting features. Look through the tabs and explore!
And sorry if I named some of the tabs and strings wrong. I didn't use the English version!

So for example I can download the latest game update for smash and play online while still on 5.3.2?

Max laps you can complete on MK8 through changing course_muunt.byaml is 7. It shows split times and everything. I tried 99 laps and the screen said 1/9, but it always freezes and drops connection after completing the 7th lap.

I am looking forward to this, thanks always for providing tools to play the games in various new ways. I also would be happy to help on testing the tools or modification files if you need that.

Your edited byaml file for music park course actually could be used for allowing player to only run 1 lap for finishing the course. I actually like it having such a feature (see the low-quality video/sound of repeated "highlight reel" below).

I presume that this would be offline? Surely there's some kind of check failing that perhaps it can go beyond 7 laps.

It's kinda odd that 7 is the imposed limit considering what @Summersett had mentioned with the game showing 9 laps. It seems the game is fine with it, but something just isn't cooperating. I guess to be able to have more than 7 laps would require some editing of files then. There'll be a day in which that'll happen though I'm sure of it. After all, this did just get released so there isn't as much work done yet.
