At least there's been posts saying that RetroArch is trying to get a port going. I don't doubt it takes awhile with how many console ports they've split themselves across. I sure hope they go through with it and it works nicely. Imagine CPS3 being properly emulated like 1 & 2. SF Third Strike on Wii U *0*
Doesn't work like that. It will take a while, if you actually read, or used the search feature this forum has, you could actually find that out fairly easy.

My post is literally about how it won't come quickly at all, if ever, it just has been said that it could happen so it's something to hope for. Since people were saying how everyone that said they'd develop for Wii U if a kexploit came out didn't. It doesn't happen overnight.

I don't see how that's saying that it won't come quickly, and my post wasn't saying that is won't come quickly, I said it takes a shit ton of work, you passed it on like "Oh, not much, they've done it w/ so many consoles, it should be easy." and I just said that's not how it works.

lol, you both said the same thing and somehow started arguing over the same opinion. Nothing worse than when someone says you wrote "this" but you mean "that". How about taking things at face value as if I mean "that" I would write "that".
One of the biggest social problems here at gbatemp and probably why nobody will release a wip unless it's for a game.

I'm tired, just let it happen xD

As for the actual topic, I've been enjoying what little there is of homebrew so far. Stuff like the being able to use GameCube controller for Wii U is really convenient. I wouldn't mind if all we get in the end are convenient features Nintendo insists we can't have to justify the gamepad.

I'm not gonna discuss this further since I don't want to get further off topic and derail the thread but what you quoted means exactly what it says. I don't doubt it'll take them awhile to port it over. I don't doubt as in I believe it takes awhile and the fact it's on so many consoles means they have a lot of work and up keeping to do so it's not a simple button press and boom it's ported.

HOLY SHIT I MISREAD YOU, I THOUGHT IT SAID THAT YOU DOUBT IT TAKES THAT LONG BECAUSE OF HOW MUCH THEY DID IT
HOLY FUCK IM SORRY

Ok so, what about the message: "From this point, you will need the Wii U GamePad".
Can it be removed? My GamePad was empty, I use the Wii U Controller. Could use the web fine, even when loading the exploit.

So, is it possible to remove, bypass this message with the exploit? If so, should be included upon loading Loadiine, Cafiine and other stuff ^^

Can't believe this was unpinned. I mean it's not like there hasn't been any new updates to homebrew apps lately or anything, right?

I think this never was pinned lol
I do remember that it was actually, was a long time ago though

Yes it was at one time, but for some reason, homebrew just won't get any love.

I have too many of them now. Since adding sound to my game and helping vgmoose add sound to his, there is much work to be done.

Both Wii U and VITA don't have "full" hacks yet, WiiU only needs IOSU Kernel and then a CFW featuring update protection with "nice to have" Emu/RedNAND current FW , VITA needs quite a bit more work. Once they are 'pwned' like the Wii was and the PSP was and the (n)3DS is now, it'll improve. You need a good supported toolchain for devs and easy-to-install-stuff for users. So for VITA anything involving manipulated e-mails or having to use a PS3 (jailbroken or not) or having to activate your Rejuvenate license every 24 hours is going to be a problem.

Rather vague question...

Someone (i think a german guy) was working on a tool that would prep games to be used with loadline without the user having to find the title id, key and whatever you need (as you can see, i haven't hacked my wii u yet and got no clue). Progress was like 40%. Has anyone an update on the situation?

The only thing I can think of is ddd. It lets you load all of the files of the games you own over the network.
Just install Homebrew Launcher, get the latest release of ddd (+maybe watch a YouTube tutorial) and you're fine! :)
