tbh it was pretty simple at a first glance in a hex editor that it was all raw data and it was either 16 or 32 bit and my first guess was correct, I had to document the startup params for audio a while ago which is how I know they support both 32K and 48K, as well as a load balance between DSP and PPC (yes, PPC can decode too)

Eventhough the New 3DS XL is more powerful, I still feel like the DS Lite was a more polished system. It's a real shame that it never got an XL variant keeping the GBA slot. You'd have to go on AliExpress and buy an ML shell to give a DS phat the unofficial "DS Lite" treatment, and that's the best we'll ever get I'm afraid.+1 -
