First of all this ksn't a "when will it be hacked" or a "how eill we hack it" but a "what i want from a hack" thread.

Just post in what you want from a wii u hack. This is what i want.

•Awesome Gamecube emulation
•The ability to play backups
•Super amazing full speen emulation
•Wii U controller emulation(playing n64/snes/ect...)

You misunderstood me. I want "emulators" on the controller such as playing n64/gamecube/ect... On the controller.

That's not controller emulation, that's emulation on a controller. There's a big difference.

I want a linux port that is still able to use a ton of normal linux warez. Including a controller oriented GUI.

and a built in DS emulator.

If a hack were to come? ...and I mean IF..

+ A whole slew of emulation possibilities. If this console is as powerful as Nintendo claims? I'd love to see a PS1/X and PS2 emulators. Even if crappy. Just a proof of concept.

+ True customization and maybe a new UI. Knowing Nintendo, the WiiU will resemble a cross of DSi/3DS and Wii.

+ The ability of Remote Desktop, or maybe an ability to load an OS on there? Ubuntu, perhaps?

+ A dual homebrew effort... I don't want to see the 3DS hacked, but if it is I'd love to see some sort of homebrew that allows the 3DS and WiiU to communicate unlike what Nintendo may/may not bring.

Just a dream, but worth the vision.. At least I think.

I only want an official (console encrypted/signed) or hack way to store full games on an external HDD instead of using optical media.
Nintendo, stop using only optical discs. People like storing all their games at the same place and picking one without changing disc. Take example on Wii backup Loader's interfaces. Thank you.


About hack itself, just launching homebrew is enough.

It's not unlikely, any company could use a bluray drive for there console whether or not it's (mosly) owned by sony, it's up to them whether or not to add one in.

That seems to be a much more likely scenario, though I'm not sure if it's legit, but we'll see.
