Hacking Wii u gamepad emulator?

Just wondering if it's ever been tried. If it could be done properly, it could give us remote play on most games/'third party' controllers (i.e. playstation/xbox) and the like.

I think cemu emulates the second screen of the controller, so maybe that's a start?

Just gonna drop a few things here regarding this topic.
