Now I'm just gonna assume vWii works nearly exactly like a Wii.
Go into vWii's settings (the Wii button in the bottom left corner) and click on the Wii settings button, go to the third page and select format Wii system memory. Select "Format".

EDIT: Maybe call Nintendo customer service and ask them how to reset vWii.

That's extremely stupid, I'll look around for a way to remove all traces of modified IOSes. You can update vWii like a regular Wii, right? You should try that first.

I think a NAND dump may fix it? Do you have a backup of vWii before you installed any modified IOSes?

It's impossible for you to have an IOS with trucha bug and still be able to update the Wii U. That error occurs when you try to update with a patched vWii IOS. So you can't have #1 and #4 on that list at the same time. However, there is no reason for you to want a patched IOS, you can install wads via cIOS which do no harm to the update process.

We're going to try to fix your SysCheck. In the "/apps/SysCheck HDE" folder on your SD card, there is a file called "meta.xml". You need to open this file with Notepad or whatever get editor you prefer. Scroll down to where the file says "<arg>--skipIOS=0</arg>". Change the "0" to "36" and try to run the SysCheck again. Follow this guide to post this sys check in this thread.

To update you'll have to get a normal IOS first, and then install the one with the trucha bug.
