I have had the privilege to see a Dreamcast Emulator running on the Wii U.

Where what source?
A Student who I met through a friend at University he was coding a Dreamcast Emulator for Wii U , I dropped a hint awhile ago in one of my posts about the Gamepad having Emulator Functions Save State / Load State Buttons along with Cheats and Graphical Filters all of which not implemented but Buttons there VMU Display in center but it a mess looks like a broken screen etc. Not Finished.

Interface?
The Emulator looks like it is similar to the GX Interface I know someone done something like this before on the Wii and I think it might be the same just more updated on XBOX 360 , I dont know if the guy is using those as source but it looks like them.

State / Code?
The Bad News Emulator Boots to BIOS Main Menu and for the most part it works looks cool all he needs is to fix the VMU Display and his Button Functions on his Gamepad and hopefully start on the Speed Improvement and Compatability Games dont Boot! The Menu though looks just like it is being used on Dreamcast even sound and looks good no noticeable glitches so damn fluid.

EMULATOR CANCELLED!
AND SOURCE CODE APPARENTLY DELETED?

He would not give me even the Source Code he said has no time to work on it and cant be bothered and besides he no longer needs to work on it BECAUSE HE BOUGHT A DREAMCAST AND GDEMU!

Sorry to get anyone's Hopes up just as mine was but if he done it and if it was connected to the other ports I mentioned there is hope maybe someone will do it I believe those other Ports where early versions of NullDC.

Who knows he might release or already has released the Source I dont know but here is hoping.

I dont know all I know is that he is 22 and loves Anime lol who does not though he seems to like Death Note , Hellsing I dont know much more than that and I probably wont even see the guy again.
Aaron is his name.

My grandpappy has a fully functioning Dreamcast emulator on the original Wii, but I'll have to see if he's willing to share

Man even dynarec for PS1 emulator is taking ages. Of course I wish to see a DC emulator but don't have your hopes on something very unlikely to be true...

Wii U can play my most loved games from DC generation (Sonic Adventure 1 & 2), and I'm already very happy with that.

Just when you think something Wii U is still being worked on, then wham! it all goes to hell in a hand basket.

I'm not even sure if there'll be a Dynarec on Wii U, because the Switch just had to get all the homebrew devs' attention.

For what it's worth, the attention this thread generated (1,000 views in under 2 weeks) is positive. Perhaps there is still a scene for developers to make worthwhile content for. PPSSPP got a port to Wii U recently too, we can hope. :D

Some of the best Switch titles are ports from Wii U. I feel surprised how gamers reacting very positively to Donkey Kong TF, Zelda BOW, Toad, Mario Kart 8...and soon New Mario Deluxe, while those very same titles are already available on Wii U.

I was actually legit surprised about that when i saw that and when testing it out! The games actually don't run that bad though there's a bit of massive slowdown, but other than so it just needed more optimizing is all.

It's a shame that seeing the Switch stealing all the attention, as it costs dearly in Brazil I still could not get one, but I've been using Wii U as '' An Emulators House ''

I recently finished MegaMan Maverick Hunter X from the PSP on it and have been playing several Nintendo 64 games by then, it would be great to see Dreamcast in it, but I doubt that will happen.
