Hello!

My daughter is starting to be interested in video games. I showed her some games on my Wii U (Kirby, Donkey Kong, Mario), but her hands are really small. I'm looking for a small form factor controller that works on a hacked Wii U (Bloopair or any other solution). It is very important that it works on Retroarch. Does anyone know any controller that can be used?

How old is your daughter? My nephew is using a wiimote sideways with a grip handle for retroarch games. He is 7.

She's 3 and 10 months. We already tried the Wii Remote, it's almost there. I was thinking, maybe the Wii Classic Controller (not the pro version) could be an option, I recall it was small.

I think the joycon could work too. This might be the smallest controller ever made and the main reason I didn't get a switch in the first place. Made for small japanese hands only. And they tend to have a drift problem with the analog stick despite being pretty expensive compared to the classic controller. So the classic controller is be the best way to go. It has enough buttons for all games.

That's also a really good idea. I didn't know the joycons worked in Bloopair.

You forget that Nintendo game devices are for kids first, and for adults who refuse to grow up (and buy plushies and action figures) second. They were the perfect size for children, which is who most Switch Lites are being used by.

True that, but my inner child is little bit offended now :P
