Hacking Wii thinks empty channel is filled

I've just acquired a Wii and have been tinkering with it.

I've installed game channels on the Wii on the system menu for easy access.
However, I am unable to fill in one last channel (the one besides Rune Factory: Frontier as shown in the pic below) as the Wii seems to think that it has been filled.

I've tried installing several different channels, but none of them appear on the empty spot. They show up under Data Management tho.
I've also tried moving other available channels to that space and then installing new channels, but the new empty channel space remains empty.
I'm not sure how to fix this, and it would be very appreciated if anyone can help me solve this. Thanks!
