just use waninkokos downgrader, select the correct region.

or personally ... I only use ftpii. Card never leaves my wii.

and ftpii to transfer stuff to the sd-card. it's just somewhat slow, but works fine.

Ok so to the people that have installed this does it actually work well? Like can it play different region games no problem? Because I didn't read through the whole topic and yeah... just asking has anyone tested it yet?

Yeah, I've tried it with a NTSC-US GC game, my region is PAL. The works, but video mode isn't adjusted, so I get a cropped image, but the games are nonetheless playable.

This is a great start for creating a better 'dashboard' for the Wii. I'm happy to lose the health warning on power-up, but I'd really like to see that stupid wrist-strap reminder gone -- I can't see that being part of each and every game... (or is it!?) There aren't that many games that really need the wrist strap anyway...

Glad to hear that the music can be disabled as well - that music is really annoying - and much louder than some of the game volume which makes it blare out when you exit a game.

Great work Crediar - you even had Marcan & Bushing reverse a few of your tricks to put them into their own release.

The "wrist strap" screen is part of the game loading...

Look at Wii Sports, or Zelda... no Wii Condom...

Look at Brawl or Mario Kart... there is a Wii Condom...

you'd have to modify each disc to get rid of that screen, sorry!

Agreed - interestingly though, my copy of wiisports has the Wii Condom - Came with a D2C wii bought in March 08. I dumped it and opened with trucha... and interestingly mine has an update on it too...

for that, you'll need a pre-3.0 firmware. again, this can be obtained using the downgrader.
