Hacking Wii Sports Resort Problem

Hello everyone,

got myself wii sports resort, updated to 4.1 using waninkoko's updater and started the game using configurable USB loader v35 ! The thing is right after i click on the game it sends me back to the wii home menu?

Can anyone help me here because i just don't know what the problem may be. Thanks

I have an identical problem, PAL + PAL and the game bombs back to the system menu. Do you get the the video selection screen. After I click the 'return to game' it bombs.

worked on my PAL wii:
to play Wii Sports Resort MULTi4 PAL on a PAL Wii you need:
- the latest version of USB GX loader
- 4.1 Wii system software
- RZTP01.dol in the root of the sd card

first you need to start the game through USB GX loader with:
- 002 fix on
- alt dol on
you will see a WM+ tutorial video, after that the console reboot to mine menu, now start the game the second time, baut first set the "alt dol" off.
the game should start.

Thats what 4.1 update is for lol, Nintendo wanted to make sure you could play sports resort on your usb

Nope - it fixes a bug in the game (and having to watch the WM+ video before playing WSR is not a bug).

However, once you'd got past the video bit on WSR if you then went off and played a WiiWare or VC game off SD card, when you play WSR again it made you watch the video again ... that was the bug that is fixed by 4.1

Instructions For Those who Use USB-Loader:
1A. For USB Loader GX users: Place the alt.dol (RZTP01.dol) in the root of the SD (SD:\)
1B. For Neogamma users: Place the alt.dol (RZTP01.dol) in "NeoGamma" in the root of the SD (SD:\NeoGamma)
2. Load the USB-Loader (has to be a loader that contain the error 002 fix)
3. Toggle "Error 002 fix" ON and "Alternative dol" ON
4. start the game and watch the first video after that when you try to play the game it will reboot the wii
5. Load yout Usb-loader again and toggle Alternative dol OFF.
6. Start the game and Enjoy.
