Hacking Wii Speak Hacking?

There are just two games that use Wii Speak. There has to be a way to hack the Wii Speak (or the Wii) to make it work for any Wii game. Right?

I'm personally more interested in hacking to allow usage of any 3rd party USB microphone.

I second that, would be cool to use a USB headset or somthing similar. Anyone know if the posibility is there?

Any form of hacking that lets me chat with friends on the Wii would be great

Be even cooler if you could set it up so that you could talk to DS with headset from a Wii, call your friends etc. I know they have the skype phone HB for DS... why not Wii?

I second that one. I would love to have a Skype app for the Wii.

I don't think there's any possible way that Wii Speak integration into any game will ever be possible.
