Hacking Wii Softmod SD Card Questions?

So i want to softmod my Wii thats on 4.3U but every tutorial i come accross says no SDHC cards so thats all i have I have a 8gb SDHC on my wii and it works great, but why cant i use that card to mod it?

Do I have to buy an 2gb SD card?

SDHC cards are less likely to be compatible. Since you already have one, go ahead and give it a shot, but if it doesn't work (meaning the hackmii installer freezes) go buy a 2GB Sandisk for 10 bucks.
