hey i haven't updated to 4.1 yet. is it ok to download stuff from the shop channel. also i have installed vc && wiiware wads.

sorry this if is newby.

The Wii wont upgrade, possibly the shop channel but I´m not sure...

Yes, it's perfectly fine. 4.0 includes the latest Wii Shop Channel, and therefore won't ask for an upgrade.
