Wii remote keeps disconnecting from console

I've had this with an older Wii Remote (without integrated motion plus). Even though everything looked okay-ish, a reflow on the battery contact (tge part where the spring is soldered to the board through-hole method) solved the problem for me.

Could have other reasons though (obviously).

Edit: Just remembered that I even posted a blog entry about this. No deeper information or pictures in that one. But @WiiMiiSwitch, please read it and compare the symptoms -- maybe it is the same.

Good luck!

Thanks, any help is useful!
Is it possible the battery contacts might be loose, and that when you shake it around the batteries disconnect just long enough for the console to lose the connection?
I actually put tape on the batteries, unfortunately did not work
Change the Bluetooth Module?

EDIT: WAIT! I read that's just when you move the controller or something like that?
Yeah

I'm thinking it's time to get a new Wiimote. Something inside your Wiimote it's not working correctly.

Do you have a spare Wiimote to test?
