Hacking Wii Pong: the Twilight Princess hack evolves

Two days after the exploit was found in Twilight Princess, that allowed you to run code off of an SD card, a l33t programmer named Auby has been able to load an ELF version of Pong, which was originally coded for the GameCube. As of now the controls aren’t functioning, but like any demo/early hack things will just begin to expand and grow from here.

Does it say

or does it recognize that you are running pong?

At homebrew point most functions of the Wii stops, for example, you can't simply go back to Wii menu by pressing home. So I don't think Wii is recording the play time of the run homebrew

That's my understanding too, once you boot off the SD your not in "Wii Mode" anymore, your just accessing it's processors, cpu parts, etc...

Nope, after the buffer overrun, the hack 'cleans up' the enviroment and is running on the lowest software level ...
