Try loading with Gecko OS, if you need help getting out of the problem then you probably need to say so..

You don't have to update, it just wants you to. I'm playing it fine without updating.

What i believe what he said was :

In order to play Wii Music you have to update to the latest Firmware. When I do this none of my backups work. Does anybody have any ideas please thanks.

    Umm. What?

PAL and NTSC seem to work fine with the newwest backup launcher.

If your saying that you updated to play it and now the backups don't work, then thats your fault for updating.

Run it through Gecko OS to skip the update, or get a scrubbed release with the update removed.

Next time be more specific and spell check please,

Damn this game is crappy as hell, i'm glad i downloaded it instead of buying. I really love nintendo, but this really sucks big time... At least, that is my opinion.

So the retail disc has a new update that blocks Homebrew? That's what I'm getting out of this anyway.

Since it's just Wii Music I doubt it's much of a problem...
