Hacking Wii Menu

Ok so i know that you can put a disk in your wii u and it would pop up as a wii or wii u game and if its a wii game you can open it by going to the wii menu but i was trying to put wii games on my wii u but havent been successful i use usb loader gx2 but use a SD card i put all the files on the sd card and i am aware that its called USB loader but putting in a usb would format it and i wouldnt be able to get files on it i have a wii but cant find the HDMI adapter for it now i honestly dont know if this would go on a q and a but i just really need help with it as the wii menu finds my sd card and i dont know if i need to change the format as i have it on the normal wii format or what usb loader reads idk i just copied some folders and a game from the hard drive we had wit hloads of wii games on it but i honestly just need help or if there is a way to get the wii screen to appear without a hdmi or through the wii u :/
