Well, I've been working all afternoon to get this far.

    Code:
Kernel Panic - not syning: No init found. Try passing init= option to kernel.
Tried placing init in /bin/ saying echo "lolz" - nothing different.

Shits going to go down on this wii... [IMG]

When does the kernel panic happen? When you first start it up? Do you get to login, or see anything before it? Need to be a bit more specific for us to help.

After a Linux kernel boots, it looks for a program named init to run. This panic may mean that the kernel could not find or read the root file system, or there's no init in the root file system. Normally, if you install Busybox in your rootfs, then init should be there. Post your kernel boot command if you want me to take a look at it.

Try putting a soft link at the root of the fs to wherever init is.
