Hello, I’m trying to put my modded Wii in my car. The car only has hdmi in so I purchased the wii2hdmi adapter. Tested it out on the home tv and it works fine. In the car it says nothing connected. I tried a different hdmi cable. Tried another device (fire stick) that worked. Tried changing the resolution on the Wii to 480i and 480p. I can’t change the resolution on the tv in the car. The wii is plugged into a 115v outlet that the car has built in. Also tried plugging the wii into an outlet from the house to rule out the power from the car. Anyone have any other ideas to get this working? Any help will be greatly appreciated by my 4 year old and me!
The screen resolution is set to 1080 x 600 and I can’t change that. Could the resolution be the issue?
I was able to figure this out by buying a cheap converter on amazon that upscale the a/v signal to 720p. I can’t believe it actually worked lol.
