Hacking Wii Homebrew No More?

When Nintendo releases the wii update that stops the trucha signed disc from working,will it also stop wii homebrew from working or being developed?The update is already released but its not working until they release a menu update.

No Wii homebrew using the Twilight Hack will still work, but Wii homebrew channels won't.

but i'm confused, some people say this update does nothing, but other's say it fixes the signing bug...?

It fixes the signing bug but it will fix it when they release the menu update which will probably be when Mario Kart Wii is released.
