Hey guys,

I am looking for some guidance here. I cannot seem to get the SNES emulator functioning on my wii. I continue to get "error mounting wiisd." I have formatted my card to fat 16 and everything. My files look like this - E:drive/apps/snesemulator/boot.elf/roms/saves. I don't understand why I continue to keep getting this error. How else could I go about installing the snes emulator? What would my file structure look like if i wanted to use the twilight princess hacK? I have tried putting the snes emulator on the root with the boot.elf file in this folder but i cannot get it to work with the twilight princess hack. any help with this would be greatly appreciated. i really want to get this to work.

thanks guys.

put your roms in like this, E:\snes9x\roms
for save files, put them in like E:\snes9x\saves
put your boot.elf in E:\apps\snesemulator\boot.elf

thanks for the quick responses guys. samsam, i tried exactly what you said. i tried loading through the twilight princess hack but it says "no cde found to load, hanging" I also tried through the homebrew channel. i can actually load the snes emulator but when i select it and say load rom i still get the error mounting wiisd message. do you guys have any idea what the problem could be?

thanks again.

Hmmmmm...
1. Format your SD card to FAT16/FAT
2. Using TP: put boot.elf on root, using HBC in apps/snes/boot.elf
3. Roms put in root/roms
4. Create folder "saves".

Try now.

ok i formatted the card.
to be clear you want me to put the snes boot.elf on the root and also keep in it apps/snes/boot.elf or...

my homebrew channel is installed already. i don't have a boot.elf file for the homebrew on the root.

Yes, the snes emulator elf must be in apps/snes/

QUOTEThe boot.elf on the root is the Homebrew channel.
Vat?
