ok so i downloaded it.... is the boot.elf in the folder "sd root" the install for the timeless homebrew channel? what exactly was included in this download?

you do not put the .elf in a folder.

if you downloaded the timeless homebrew channel then it will install that, what is included in the download is what you downloaded.

i've noticed that the twilight save files are 120kB , where the newer version is 122kB ...
was the older vesion included by mistake ?

Not entirely sure what it does but it is automatically created by Macs. Don't worry about it.

Yeah it's created by mac, you can delete it.

SO what does this actually do? I read the full topic but still not 100% sure....

If I install this I can use the new channel to install VC games etc?? Instead of booting zelda every time??? Is this right?

As a side note, thankyou to everyone who has put effort into all this WAD hacking.. I am a bit of a noob when it comes to code dumping & stuff (hence this post) but so far, installing the twighlight hack & a few VC games has been really straighforward. I guess what I'm trying to say is I couldnt have done it without various people in the scene so THANKYOU all for all your had work & efforts

Another noob to Wii Homebrew with another question-

Here's my understanding about this, and i'm seeing if i'm right-
Using the TP hack, this installs a new channel on the main wii menu that will allow me to run homebrew without needing TP in the drive anymore? Or do i need TP in there, but i just run the HB channel?

And... one more

Do all emus run proper under this channel? Or will i need to keep my eyes open for updates?

Wii Homebrew Channel (from Wiibrew)

A custom Wii channel created by Team Twiizers, the same people responsible for the Twilight Hack. It allows homebrew to be run from the SD card in a similar fashion to the Twilight Hack, but from the Wii menu, so is more convenient. Currently the Wii Homebrew Channel available for public release is a beta. Currently it allows ten minutes of usage before expiring. Once the channel has expired, it cannot be reinstalled, so it's suggested you use the allocated ten minutes wisely.
