First off, I'm not one of those lazy sons of bitches who pawns their wishes and problems off to someone else. This thread is authored by me and thusly if anything comes of it, I'll be responsible.

I've been recently thinking of a GBAtemp Night for the Wii. I haven't been here long, but I haven't seen a single Wii Night for GBAtemp. Not that these things fly out weekly, but still. I just find it ironic for a primarily Wii-centered forum (well, "Nintendo systems" centered) to not really have a Wii multiplayer night.

So, I need your input. I've narrowed my choices of Wi-Fi games to this:

- The Conduit
- Medal of Honors: Heroes 2
- Call of Duty 5
- Quantum of Solace
- Mario Kart Wii

The Conduit has a pretty decent sized party limit and not to mention voice chat, although there's been some reported errors for pirates (although I own a legit copy of the game). Medal of Honor has the largest party size of all of them, but it's probably not my favorite. Call of Duty 5 is CoD gameplay, but small party sizes. And the Dark Horse, Quantum, is awesome gameplay but again, small party size. Mario Kart Wii isn't a shooter, but still is quite fun and has a nice 8-sized party. Vote on each and make comments.

This still isn't anything official yet. I'm still getting homework pounded up my ass, not to mention my brother enjoys hogging up the TV at my dad's place to play ODST.

If you want to suggest any other game, go ahead. Just don't make some stupid suggestion like "Halo 3" or something or I will facepalm you. My general criteria is something fun, whether it be balls-to-the-wall hardcore or something just plain silly and funny. No shovelware, though.

If there was to be a Wii night, it wouldn't be this weekend. It's too short a notice and I'm at my dad's, meaning that my brother will probably be playing ODST. Next weekend, maybe.

Have fun!

Would this Wifi Night be only for large party games? I mean, there are some cool online games, but only for 2 or so people... If these are allowed into play, we could "manage" it somehow. For example, Dragon Ball Z Budokai Tenkaichi 3 is awesome (IMO), but it's only for 2 players (i think).

I'd love to play BT3 online but since it's a game night and lots of people would turn up, having games that support many people would be better. BT3 would be better for a tournament but that's a different story.

1v1 games aren't really suggested. I was stretching it with 2v2 in Quantum and CoD5, but I don't think I could slim down to 1v1. It's about interacting with a bunch of tempers, not just another guy. Maybe if we do a tournament or something later, although I personally don't like fighting games.

I nominate Brawl+. Come on, good game.

Except Brawl online in general is terrible. Laggy and not nearly as good as the splitscreen.

I was the only one who voted Quantum. It's such a good game that everyone passes on because it's a "movie game". It's one part Call of Duty 4 and one part Rainbow Six Vegas, plus Wii controls.

have not played QOS in a while so i'm game...

here is some other ideas if people want to give it a shot

GH5
RB2
TBRB
TMNT smash UP
SSBB.
Smack Down VS Raw 09

Does GH5 have like 4-player support (drums, guitar, vocals, bass)? That would be a fun party game, if I had a GH/RB set. Same goes for RB2.

IDK what TBRB is.

Smash Up looks meh to me. Sorta like a Brawl clone without some of the elements that made Brawl cool. And Brawl online is pretty bad in my opinion. It's always been laggy for me.

SD vs. Raw is only 2 players, I think. I'm looking for at least 4 player games.

i think in GH5 it's 8 players and everyone maybe can have the same insturment

TBRB=the beatles rock band

sd vs raw is 4 players.

you can have 2vs2 matchs or FFA.

If I had Rock Band/GH instruments, both games would be great (RB: B, as I call it, and GH5).

I'm not a big fan of wrestling games, though.

"Brawl online kinda sucks. It's a splitscreen game, in all honesty" what the mean or maybe tetris party

For me at least, it was terribly laggy, not to mention a lot of Brawl is human interaction. Nothing like telling your buds to stuck it after you smack their ass right back off screen with Ike's gigantic sword.

Tetris Party is awesome. Is it 4 players? If so, that's a great party game.

yeah 4 player battle system on wi-fi
i have never had a problem with brawl on wi-fi lagging maybe becasue my wii is right next to the router
