Alright so im new to the wii softmod scene been around the ipod touch jailbreak since day one

I just did the soft mod on 3.4 and tried to run a backup of my mario kart DD gamecube. i followed all the steps and downloaded the cios and what not but when i popped in the disk i got a black screen and a reboot. Any suggestions?

Please man USE THE SEARCH. You either installed something wrong- You are using the Gamecube Backup Launcher right?
Also it could be a bad burn there are help topics for this

reinstall your cIOS first and go over your installation again be sure you didn't miss anything

And by the way, you need 2 tutorials, 1st, the one for Wii backups, then 2nd, the one for GC backups.

Not the same, but needed both.
