Hi,

I have dvd dumper v1.3 on my sd card in the apps folder and renamed to boot.dol.
I load hbc and select dvd dumper and the wii goes black for about 2 seconds and then resets.
Am i missing something here?
I would like to transfer through wifi to the pc.
I have tried searching and am getting confused about different wads/ios files etc etc.
Thanks in advance.

Cheers

Try A Lower DVD Dumper System Or try it without renaming it to boot.dol

Ok i have 1.2 and 1.3 both as boot.dol in the apps folder.
1.2 when selected just returns to the hbc list and 1.3 resets the wii.
Anymore help would be fantastic.

Cheers

If you don't know if you have it. Odds are you don't. You don't need a hint. You can get it from Waninkoko under Custom IOS 36 rev 07 or WiiGator inside his Backup Loader package. The only requirement is you have WiFi. They are installers that d/l the files from Nintendo servers and patch them, so no copyright issues.

Hi,

Oki have IOS 36 rev 7 and will install.
When i go into hbc it says in the top right corner IOS36 V4.18 is this an older version???
Is this safe for me to install?
Thanks again.

That's just the IOS used by HBC. Think of IOSes like operating systems and partitions on a pc. Just like you can have XP, Linux, Vista, etc all at once installed on your PC and on different partitions. Same goes for IOSes. Games, homebrew, the system menu, can all use different IOSes and these IOSes can be installed into different "partitions". It's as safe as it can possibly be.

Hi,

Installed IOS 36 rev 7 but still cant get wii dvd dumper to work.
Installed IOS 36 rev 7 by putting in apps folder and making boot.dol and loading through hbc.
Is this correct?

Yeah. that's how you install it... any error messages? Does it just not do anything? Removed all GameCube controllers, memorycards, anything attached to USB?

Got it going thank you very much to all who helped me.
Does anyone know where i can find a banner (i think thats what they call them) that can go wii dvd dumper v1.2 when loading through hbc?

Cheers

I think you're talking about the icons in HBC. There are some here here and a thread somewhere in our forums which you can look for on your own.
