dude shut up liostem it costs more for retail dvd games okay there by stealing retail games make them loose more so shut up dick and get back on topic

Deemo, you're not only completely out of line, but wrong. In fact, you're so wrong that it's almost more inflammatory than anything offensive you could try to muster up with that twelve year old vocabulary of yours.

The physicality of the software is not the important part.

Software developers are reporting astronomical losses, yet you never see a million or so people running out of a store with stolen goods to account for the loss. That is because the software is made available via means such as P2P networks. Their "percieved" losses come from the argument that users who would have purchased their software have resorted to pirating it instead. The foundation for this can be debated to no end, so I'll just stick to the topic at hand.

To say that the theft of a Wii game "costs" more for Nintendo compared to the theft of a VC/Wiiware title is just absurd. Just because VC titles retail for less doesn't mean losses go unnoticed. Profit is profit.

It's quicker to download $200 worth of VC titles than it would be to download one $50 Wii game. So, if anything, the theft of VC titles could amount to more loss if enough people stole them.

I have a question.

After I complete all the required steps to change to the target region, what will happen if I format my Wii?
Will it change back to original region or stick on the new region?

EDIT: Sorry, I have posted this question to a wrong thread.

OK, i've just downloaded the Custom IOS and the Downgrader. I've put both .dol files in the /apps/ folder of my SD card in a folder and renamed them 'boot.dol'. Is that the right thing to do, because it doesn;t really explain the installation very well.

It have to be *your root*/ apps /*whathever you name the folder*
Next, just load Homebrew Channel, and they should show. Click on them and they will load (remove any GC memory cards)

Don't see why you'd need the downgrader anymore.
Unless it's for StarFall.
If I've heard correctly, the DVD Stub removes the Trucha bug fix.
