even if i go there, without asking for sizes, it's not transparent.
Also the disc for RW3P is wrong.
it's a different game to just RW3
Cheers
hrmm i got the disc for RCYPGN Cheggers party quiz ok...
So maybe the originals of the ones that i can't get transparent are already non transparent if that makes sense..

Is everyone having this transparency issue ?
The windows version looks to be transparent , but if its not on the wii then the script for resizing on the site obviously does something wrong with transparency when resizing so ill need to remove it and go with just the normal 160x160 images for discs and the same for the 3d boxart.

Pointless having all of the bells and whistles on the site for resizing if they dont work.

all images on your site with transparnecy have the issue. i have try to download manually my 3d box art (in small and my standart size) and they have all white backgrounds. your script loose the alpha... :-(

Cheggers party quiz is OK because the source image is 160x160, it's not being resized.

this is the actual image you linked to, as you can see it's 600 x 600, the URL you posted automatically resized it to 160x160 and caused the issues.

I'll mess around today & see if I can get the fade working somehow.

Edit: Oops, I just noticed that the reflection still has the darker shadow on the left. 99.9% perfect.

The transparency issues with the 3D cover and discs from www.theotherzone.com/wii/ should be sorted now. Please let me know if there are any problems.

I've had no luck getting the fade to work the way we are wanting it to. I can create the fade using the gradient tool, but I can't seem to get it to fade into transparency. I can only get it to fade to white, even though I have it set to transparent. There's gotta be another step, because I don't think it's possible that we're running the same script & photoshop version as marcouf..... but getting different results.

@marcouf, do you have any sort of video screen capturing software? I'd like to see exactly how you are doing this, as both djbubba & I are losing the reflection fade. Here's a video of the script completing successfully, but without the fade:

I don't think it's the wrong disc, I think the code used for the pirates vs ninjas is actually the code for POTC....

Nah the code is correct... there is no POTC (RW3) for PAL but there is P Vs N in PAL which is RW3P... does that make sense lol?

Pirates Of The Caribbean: At World's End Ntsc RW3E4Q
Pirates Ninja Dodgeball Pal RW3P4Q

The code is incorrect, according to theotherzone:

RW3P = Pirates Ninja Dodgeball
RW3J = Pirates Of The Caribbean: At World's End
RW3E = Pirates Of The Caribbean: At World's End

The fourth letter is the region, the first 3 letters are ALWAYS the same for a game no matter what the region and no two games have the same ID.

E = NTSC-U
J = NTSC-J
P = PAL (plus many variants of 'P' for different countries within PAL region)

How many times do we have to go over this?

This lis: http://wiki.gbatemp.net/wiki/index.php/USB_Loader_titles.txt was made from theotherzone so we can't really use it to verify the real code for this game.

Has anyone got Pirates Ninja Dodgeball who could tell us the ID?

anyone can put his "config.txt" for understand what do i put in it please?

If you're talking about the gui usb loader (the one that kind of looks like the wii system menu and has spinning disc images), then it should be SD:/config/config.txt

Might be an idea to post in a thread for the loader as opposed to a disc image thread though.

    Eventhough the New 3DS XL is more powerful, I still feel like the DS Lite was a more polished system. It's a real shame that it never got an XL variant keeping the GBA slot. You'd have to go on AliExpress and buy an ML shell to give a DS phat the unofficial "DS Lite" treatment, and that's the best we'll ever get I'm afraid.

    The phat model had amazingly loud speakers tho.

    @Jayro, I don't see whats so special about the DS ML, its just a DS lite in a phat shell. At least the phat model had louder speakers, whereas the lite has a much better screen.

    It's a DS Lite in a slightly bigger DS Lite shell.

    A woman with no arms and no legs was sitting on a beach. A man comes along and the woman says, "I've never been hugged before." So the man feels bad and hugs her. She says "Well i've also never been kissed before." So he gives her a kiss on the cheek. She says "Well I've also never been fucked before." So the man picks her up, and throws her in the ocean and says "Now you're fucked."

    Agreed, that why I try to buy all my games on disc, Xbox anyways. Switch games (which I pirate tbh) don't matter much, I stay offline 24/7 anyways.

    @BakerMan - you can still "own" digital media, arguably easier and better than physical since you can make copies and backups, as much as you like.

    The issue is DRM
  • cearp @ cearp:
    You can buy drm free games / music / ebooks, and if you keep backups of your data (like documents and family photos etc), then you shouldn't lose the game. but with a disk, your toddler could put it in the toaster and there goes your $60

    :rofl2:
  • cearp @ cearp:
    still, I agree physical media is nice to have. just pointing out the issue is drm
