there's plenty on ebay uk - i spotted some v.quickly, just search for wii console, and order by price (highest first). The modded ones are usually never that cheap though because they are usually sold with copied games to bump up the price e.g. this one.

Whether these kinds of deals are value for money is another issue

EDIT: cant' make the link work, but the item number on ebay.co.uk is 280150739837

How subtle.

haha "sorry when the games are on silver dvd's and have no cases"

i did the sort by price thing and found a bunch of people in florida selling japanese consoles that were "cracked" or "decoded" haha weird that they were ntsc-j systems tho

some of them even said "do not update the firmware through a game this could break yor system"

I remember accidently finding Wiikey chips on ebay. I was checking for 30 AWG wire and they mentioned EXTRAS.

They constantly mentioned in the description that it's suitable for Wiikey, feedback mentions Wiikey included in the sale... wish I could've bought it.

I think ebay have now filtered words like wiikey cyclowiz, etc out so they cant get listed.

Above examples are perfect, basically, wii's with 30/40/50 games and especially those listed with Metroid 3 and Super Paper Mario in European auctions, you know for sure they are modded, cos those games are not out in Europe. Not that the fact that they are offereing 40 games gives it away... LOL

D2C will be cracked eventually.... Just either be patient or grab a modded wii :-)

yes ebay filters anything with the word wiikey in it.

I use to have some sd cards up on ebay and I was getting pissed off at them for removing them because they have legal uses and according to play-asia nintendo has a official version of the sd adapter which was originally used as a memory card for games requiring a large memory card.

I dont believe.

Well, i often visit Ciudad del Leste, and, guys, seriously, they are the most cheaters of this world. They sell a lot of fake products and, earlier, they are selling modded VGA cards with fake chipsets ( i.e.: a Trident with modded bios, wich display "GeForce 4" on the boot)

Second, i bet that any paraguaian or even equatorian have sufficient knowledge and tools to do that.

(sorry for my english)

Does anyone else find that bit of nationalism to be awesome. XEcuter tried to scam us all with a nonworking D2C solution too, never forget that...they're just much slicker.

i thought everybody knew cocktails are like 75% ice
  • Veho @ Veho:
    Yeah but not like this.
  • Veho @ Veho:
It's not like they're complaining that their Slurpee is 99% ice or something, but if the cocktail calls for "shot of vodka, shot of vermouth, shot of gin, shot of Campari, three shots of juice, squirt of lemon" and ends up being a thimbleful of booze, that's a problem.
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
the funny thing is cocktails in norway are only allowed to have 1 20ml shot of booze
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
    so..... yeah
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
we're used to only having a thimbleful of booze
  • Veho @ Veho:
    Booo.
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
same thing if you want whisky on the rocks or something, you can't get a double
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
but you could buy as many shots of whisky (or anything else) as you want and ask for a glass of ice and pour them in
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
    it's dumb
  • Veho @ Veho:
    Maybe.
  • Veho @ Veho:
There was a comparison of the number of Ibuprofen poisonings before and after they limited the maximum dosage per box or per pill (i'll look that up). No limit on the number of boxes you can still buy as many as you want, so people argued it was pointless.
  • Veho @ Veho:
But the number of (accidental) poisonings dropped because drinking an entire package of ibuprofen pills went from "I need a new liver" to "I need a new box of Ibuprofen".
  • Veho @ Veho:
Here we have ketoprofen that used to be prescription-only because of the risk of toxic dosages, but then they halved the dose per pill and sell them in bottles of six pills apiece instead of twenty and it doesn't need a prescription any more. Yes you can buy more than one bottle but people simply don't.
