Hi, my friend has a D2C Wii, and we were wondering how the Wii-Clip works.

The thing is we are both total soldering n00bs (15 years old lol) so lets say i order a preinstalled wii-clip plus d2ckey (d2ckey already soldered on wii-clip), is there a wire to solder between the Clip and the drive,or you just "clip" it somehow, nothing required except a triwing to open the wii?

Nothing required , just the triwing to open your wii and then clip it on your chipset

PS : 15 years old shouldn't pirate and 65 years old too ( too dangerous)

Thanks for the answer, and is it confirmed to be 100% working and reliable?Isn't there any risk that a wire gets "cut" or whatever when the package will be delivered from australia to Canada?

Well im only 14 years old and i did my WiiKey install all by myself.
I did like 1 hour solder practice on old boards from old video players the 2 days before my wiikey arrived.
My wire install didn't work becurse the wires were really bad.
But my quicksolder install went really well and took me about 2 minnuts.

And your Wiiclip + D2CKey / D2Pro install will be even easyer than my install so i would say even newbies would could do it

Good job on your install Superrob! And I don't see how a wire could get cut, when it has no external wires... And it is very reliable, just snap it on!
I dont really understand the part with the wire?

But the reason why they didn't work was maybe that they ware old wires i just did rip out of an old Gameboy Advance 4 player link cable

ok ive got my wii d2a with wiikey (had a fun time soldering that lol)
and i dont fancy soldring again to my m8s wiis one is d2b and the othe d2c. will i be able to wii clip both of these wiis? so i dont have to even get the iron out dont mind attaching the chip to the clip.

WiiClip is for D1A and D2C chipsets with the usage of D2CKey or D2Pro.

The D2B one. If it hasn't got cut legs then it would be the same as your own wiikey install
