Hacking wii-clip + d2c pro not playing backups

I just installed this a couple of minutes ago. I tested it out with an original game (guitar hero 3) and it works fine but when I put in a backup game it shows the question mark as if I hadn't even put a chip in there. What gives?

I really hope I didn't just waste $90 on this...

Also, I'm using staples brand dvd-r's and burning at 2x.
 
d2c pro is a crappy clone of d2ckey... so you may have waste $90 on this... and you may have to buy a new wii if the clean up goes bad. Anyway your problem can be that the game you trying to steal is not supported by your d2c pro chip or bad media or you burned a bad disk dump. Or worst its not good installed....
