Hello,
sorry to keep all of you waiting so long for updates :P
In a couple of weeks I should be back home from China, so I'll have my wii back to make tests on.
In the meantime it may be better not to use the latest versions
that are quite unstable and roll back to revisions like 70 or so.

Revision 102 only contains a fix for GIF images that was causing a crash on some pages
however you don't need to compile it, just set the AutoUpdate setting to "Nightly"
and you will be notified of the update.

EDIT
Rev103 effectively adds something new:
if the app crashes while browsing, the page history is restored the next time
(seems this feature was needed, I wonder why :D)

Right. Forgot about auto update. been a while since I used it, what with the freezing as soon as I start it.

Revision 105 is out!

Changelog:
* Support for LUA scripts
* In app bug reporting
* Reworked settings menu
* Initial support for <iframe> tag
* Initial support for "document.write" javascript method

Also wiibrowser now features a new project site at:
http://wiibrowser.altervista.org/
It's still under construction but bug reporting, discussion on desired features
and chat system are already up.

Nice progress on your project, gave92! :wink:
When will we see the new version with the litehtml engine merged in?:P

Still working on this.. I'm not sure when the new engine will be ready.
In the meantime enjoy the new updates: the next revision will add the possibility
to import/export favorites from/to other browsers and may finally fix the
random crashes you have experienced.

gave92 Updated the OP with info about your awesome project!:yaywii:
Hey, where can I find the libogc so I can compile? I wanna try out 114!

I think I would be cool if it had online flash game abilities. You know, so we cold play super Mario crossover the wii.

but you know, I'm just drooling over the fact of me downloading file without going back to the computer. *lol*

gave92 Request: would it be possible to give argument support or make a mod that would directly load a url (such as one that would result in a download)and have a selected download folder, and then once the download is finished boot back to the loader?

Imagine browsing through wiiflow and seeing previews of themes, source menus, and other bells and whistles, hitting play on one and having it downloading a theme directly to wiiflow/themes and then using it immediately after!

Something similar is already in it:
just add <arguments><arg>pagetoload</arg></arguments>
to the meta.xml file in the apps/wiibrowser/.
"pagetoload" can be:
  1. a page url (e.g "http://www.google.it/")
  2. "homepage" to load the homepage
  3. "bookmark_x" to load the x-th favorite (e.g "bookmark_4")
