Hardware Wii balance board check

In the wii balance board manual it says if your having problems with the board you can do a balance board check
how do you do this as it does not say al it says is see page 17 for troubshoot
im haveing a few problems witht eh movment

Every game that I have used the balance board for does its own "checking & adjusting" for the board. "We Ski" will do this if you select the balance board icon at the main menu.
