Hacking Wii backup loader......looks real!

Just some details I got from brakken:

1. The ISOs go through 1 patching program, thats it.

2. The ISO patching, while varying per system, takes around 5 minutes, it took him 5 minutes to convert TP into a readable format for the loader.

3. The patcher also shrinks the size of the ISO. Its unknown what is actually stripped from the ISO but it is indeed smaller.

P.S. You can stop trying to hack his system, the files have been deleted from his computer now. Good job.

5 minutes is kinda long though... not that I mind, but I had expect it to be less.

Btw, did someone try to hack his computer?

We think maybe the crashes and server problems on tehskeen besides the traffic overload might be the cause of that. We're putting some extra security on the server though so no more need to worry.

Is the 3X reading limit fixable? As in, will there ever be a way to get it back to 6X or is it a permanent thing and we just have to deal with it?

Nope, you need to burn new ones that are patched. That is if you want to use Waninkoko's ISO loader.

Nope, you need to burn new ones that are patched. That is if you want to use Waninkoko's ISO loader.

I had a crazy thought just now... Would some kind of swappable disc be possible? So you load the swapdisc, insert an unpatched Wii-game and it loads?

It might be entirely impossible, but this post should be at least as interesting as the posts about flying cats

u can play backups anyway if your wii is modded with wiikey

The speed limit is because of how libdi works. Its a side effect of where the exploit is located. For now, I wouldn't hold your breath.

. It would be great if i could connect my lacie harddrive and play games from there. and because of the isoloader it won't screw up my laser and i could play the full version of brawl.

okay i get it. (theoretic) let's say if i boot up waninkoko's thingie through my homebrew channel and play the patched game it will work. but if i don't boot waninkoko's thingie and just boot up my wii and than boot a normal backup (with my wiikey) will it work than?

read better, it' not a ISO loader but a BACKUP loader, ,you need to patch&burn the ISO file on a DVD-R

That would make sense if this was an ISO loader, but it's not. It's a backup loader.
